Behavioural interviewing is an accurate
predictor of future performance. Studies
also show that both managers and new
hires report a feel good factor when
behavioural selection methods are used in
staff selection. I use use behavioural
psychology to construct assessment
centres that improve
staff retention rates and
when devising staff
inductions & training.
One alternative, cognitive and analytical
techniques, is used when conducting
investigations, work-place assessments
and conducting hearings or panels.
Identifying demand from the customers'
point of view is critical to establishing the
way HR processes interact with the
organisation and business model. Not only

safely removed, systems thinking approach
