Hypnotherapy opens the mind and in so
doing is highly successful in helping to treat
depression, anxiety, eating or sleep
disorders, compulsive behaviour, jealousy,
anger resolution and post-traumatic stress.
I often use Hypnotherapy to help modify
behaviour, emotional discomfort and bring
about a calming of the mind. It is useful for
a wide range of conditions including
breaking habits, stress-related illness, pain
management and
motivation/personal
development.
An interactive counselling experience that
includes transactional analysis (looking at
the way you communicate with others),
cognitive behavioural therapy (challenging
the way you think to reduce feelings or
moods) and gestalt theory (used to
explores images and trauma). Short term
specialist counselling is also available for
bereavement, following life changing
diagnosis (such as HIV, cancer), fear/stress
and relationship
problems.
I use Psychoanalysis or psychoanalytic
treatment to discover the root causes that
often lead to symptoms of extreme
discomfort or distress. Psychoanalysis is a
commitment between you and I to confront
and clarify those defences, built up over a
life time, that are a major cause of anxiety,
guilt and unwanted or risky actions
Together, and over time, we work to
resolve the areas of conflict so leaving your
mind more settled.
