Hypnotherapy in action
Hypnotherapy is a powerful and versatile
therapy that is used as 'stand-alone'
therapy or in conjunction with other
therapies.
If you suffer with your emotions, often
the cause maybe underlying (not the
obvious reason). In such cases,
hypnosis combined with analysis (usefully termed “hypnoanalysis”) can
be very effective in uncovering those fears, thoughts, feelings and
memories that disrupt your life., This technique is also very popular in
the treatment for phobias, irrational fears and compulsions.
Hypnoanalysis is often used to help a client to narrate their story, a kind
of “free thinking.”
Hypnosis is an excellent aid to goal setting and improved performance
through visualisation techniques. These techniques are used in the
treatment for phobias and compulsions. Visualisation
can also help in cases of past abuse (e.g. in support
of Parkes Inner Child Therapy) and with issues
around jealousy.
What is hypnotherapy?
Hypnotherapy is a simple tool
that helps your inner thoughts
and feelings come forward in a
lucid way, your recollection can
improve and you relax. It is
often described as a little like
dreaming but you are not
asleep asleep. It is perfectly
safe and effective.
Can I try hypnosis?
The best way to experience
hypnosis is to try it. I offer an
hypnosis only session for those
who just wish to experience
being hypnotised in a safe and
secure environment,
