Hypnotherapy in action Hypnotherapy is a powerful and versatile therapy that is used as 'stand-alone' therapy or in conjunction with other therapies. If you suffer with your emotions, often the  cause maybe underlying (not the obvious reason).  In such cases, hypnosis combined with analysis (usefully termed “hypnoanalysis”) can be very effective in uncovering those fears, thoughts, feelings and memories that disrupt your life.,  This technique is also very popular in the treatment for phobias, irrational fears and compulsions.  Hypnoanalysis is often used to help a client to narrate their story, a kind of “free thinking.” Hypnosis is an excellent aid to goal setting and improved performance through visualisation techniques.  These techniques are used in the treatment for phobias and compulsions.  Visualisation can also help in cases of past abuse (e.g. in support of Parkes Inner Child Therapy) and with issues around jealousy. What is hypnotherapy? Hypnotherapy is a simple tool that helps your inner thoughts and feelings come forward in a lucid way, your recollection can improve and you relax.  It is often described as a little like  dreaming but you are not asleep asleep.  It is perfectly safe and effective.
