© Del Hunter.com 2010 Saleem finds psychoanalysis helps him overcome his anxieties Saleem is a young manager in a London broking firm and describes himself as a worrier.  He worries about his work, his relationships, his bills and he worries that if he stopped worrying he would no longer be able to perform well at work, at home and in life.  His life would be over.  Having seen several therapists over many years he has suffered from a roller-coaster of short term relief and was resigned to accepting his life as  a battle between “misery and roaring anxiety.”  After just six months of analysis he now describes his life as “more joined up” and reports that his feelings of misery are replaced with “new feelings” and “confidence.” Timothy leaves the ranting to others Timothy is a man with passion.  Other call it anger, but to Tim, he is just passionate about everything he does and he does everything with a passion.  After years of nagging by his long term partner, Tim agrees to see me for an informal chat.   Now, after two psychoanalytical sessions per month, over twelve months, Tim is less angry towards his work colleagues, his partner describes him as much calmer and he no longer shouts at passing motorists! Of himself, Timothy  simply says, “ I understand myself now and I am now able to argue away the rage that just erupted.”      Timothy in psychoanalysis Psychoanalysis, with Saleem Made with Xara
